The eyes of the world have been on Ukraine’s incredible quest to protect the freedom and sovereignty of your nation. The strength, fortitude, and resiliency of the Ukrainian people have been and will continue to be talked about throughout the world. In a war that is not over, how do the major corporations of Ukraine lead their people through the journey from survive to thrive? The “Survive to Thrive” virtual collaboration will provide guidance, systems, and tangible tools for leaders to assess their people, lean into a conversation that promotes post-traumatic growth, and build a self-sustaining culture of resiliency within their organizations.
Much progress has been made in recent years regarding the science and physiology of trauma and how to equip people with the knowledge to build their own resiliency. Military members receive years of training instilling the mental and physical fortitude required to experience war, survive, and thrive. Many of the Ukrainian people are now existing in a war-time environment without the benefit of training or mental preparation for survival.
While no two people will experience this war in the same way, the citizens of Ukraine have control in how they choose to respond as a society to build strength on the backside of this trauma. The “Survive to Thrive” virtual collaboration will provide strategies that have been tested and proven by combat veterans and first responders in high-threat, high-stress environments. These include:
- The Science and Physiology of Trauma.
- The Organizational Journey to Resiliency.
- The Power of Peer Support & How to Promote It.
- Tangible Tools & Take-Aways to Build Organizational and Individual Resiliency.
Here’s what we know: knowledge is power. Statistics show that human beings are extremely resilient when given the education, tools, and tactics to regain control over their situation. From a foundation in physiology, this workshop will give the leaders of Ukraine an introduction to the knowledge and tools necessary to empower their people in harnessing a culture of resiliency and post-traumatic growth.
ACMP Ukraine continues a series of events “Changes to which is impossible to be ready” in order to help and support the Ukrainian society and business to stand and learn how to work in a new war reality. This workshop we are going to held by Dr. Brenda Tillman, Dr. Erika Sallee, Dr. Kelly Guidry and Col Mant Hawkins.
