About us

ACMP Ukraine Chapter is a community of change management experts, practitioners, consultants who are guided by the principles of Change Management and the ACMP Standard for Change Management and have ambitious goals to change the traditional way of thinking in business and organization management.

Our public organization is the branch of the global Association of Change Management Professionals ACMP Global in Ukraine.

Our mission: promotion of the profession and discipline of Change Management in Ukraine. We develop Change Manager competencies, expand the field of change management body of knowledge, adapt international experience and introduce innovations, organize the exchange of integrated practices, methods and achievements to improve the effectiveness of change management in Ukraine.

Our vision: a community of experts in change management, provider of international and Ukrainian experience, innovation and advanced integrated practices for change management in Ukraine.

The Association of Change Management Professionals® (The Association of Change Management Professionals^®, ACMP^®) is a non-profit membership association focused on improving the effectiveness of organizations and the professional growth of people through the development of the discipline and practice of change management. Founded in 2011, the Association today is an independent and trusted source of professional excellence, championing the discipline and building a thriving community of change.

«We’re paving the way for change that works» – ACMP’s mission statement reflects not only a desire to manage change, but also a strong desire to innovate and lead the practice of change. The association is an independent and trusted source of professional excellence and high discipline, bringing together a thriving community of change managers. ACMP is committed to its more than 5,000 members to protect the existence and values of the Change Management profession worldwide. Currently, the Association has 43 branches and communities in all parts of the world.

ACMP is active in promoting change management as discipline and profession. These activities include the development and implementation of the Change Management Standard and Code of Ethics, the Change Management Professionals Certification Program (CCMP™), and the Accreditation of Educational Providers (QEP).

Main activities of ACMP

Facilitating professional development and change management training.
Facilitating the career growth of practitioners through programs delivered by ACMP-certified Qualified Educational Providers (QEPs), webinars, and other educational opportunities.
Certification of change management professionals – ACMP confirms the qualification of a change management professionals by the Certified Change Management (CCMP) international certificate.
Promotion of professional interaction and networking, organization of international and local conferences, volunteer committees, virtual opportunities for communication based on technological platform ACMP Connect.

Change management standard

is the main document by which change management managers are guided in their activities. The standard is a summary of generally accepted practices in change management and is one of the fundamental elements in the development of the profession and discipline of Change Management. The document meets the certification requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The change management standard serves as the basis for the CCMP certification, QEPs develop their qualification programs based on its principies, and it provides change management practitioners with the necessary competencies to effectively implement change.

The ACMP standard is unbiased method which includes:

definition of change management practices, processes, tasks and actions without tools and templates;
organizational change management guide for any type of change;
generally accepted practices and processes used by professionals in different industries, organizations and roles.

About Change Management

is the practice of applying a structured approach to the transition of the organization from the current state to the future state in order to ensure the achievement of the expected benefits and advantages.

Change management provides the approaches, tools, and techniques that enable an organization to successfully achieve its desired future state. By integrating with other disciplines such as strategic planning, project management, organizational development, and process improvement, change management provides value by enabling people to embrace change and act in the future state. The smoother the transition for the organization’s employees, the more efficient and effective the organization will be in achieving the benefits of the desired future state.

CCMP Professional Certification

Professional certification is the one of the approaches to prove that a professional has specific knowledge, skills, and experience related to the profession or industry. Certifications indicate mastery and/or competency in a specific subject as measured by an industry standard, usually assessed through an exam.

A certified change management professional (Certified Change Management Professional, ССМР™) is a specialist whose global professional qualification meets the Change Management Standard and is confirmed by ACMP. The CCMP ensures that practitioners know and understand the Standard and are able to apply it to implement change projects in a variety of industries. The CCMP certificate is recognized worldwide.

The CCMP is a way for professionals to demonstrate continuous development, successful application of their knowledge and experience in responding to a wide range of change management situations, and to formally announce their competencies to the world.

ChangeImpulse platform is the only provider of accredited QEP courses in Ukraine. Up to date, 14 of its graduates have passed the qualifying exam and received the CCMP certificate.

The financial contribution for membership in ACMP Global is $89 per year, the annual contribution for membership in ACMP Ukraine Chapter, according to the legislation of Ukraine, is 200 hryvnias.
